The Great Garlic Fiasco

Ever had a moment in the kitchen where teamwork just falls apart; last week, I was prepping for a busy service and asked one of my line cooks to grab a clove of garlic… Instead, he brought me a whole bulb! We joked that we could start a garlic-themed band. Nothing like those kitchen moments to keep you humble and laughing.

, I feel that! Once, I asked for diced onions and ended up with the whole damn onion — talk about a tearful surprise. Don’t you just wish there was a magic meter for when to step in? But hey, those kitchen blunders can be hilarious in hindsight.

Kitchen antics like that are the best — i once asked for sliced peppers and my chef brought me whole ones — we ended up improvising a crunchy salad instead. Next time, maybe try a quick check-in before the big ask, @c_jensen21?

Haha, love the garlic band idea! Once, I asked for minced garlic and got whole cloves instead. We ended up with a garlic-infused sauce that was awesome! :fork_and_knife_with_plate: @markus_chef72, have you ever turned a mix-up into a kitchen win?
